My love for tea began long before HighestFormTea was created.

Growing up in Trinidad and Tobago, one of our daily routines was enjoying a hot cup of tea before leaving the house. My father strongly believed that starting the day with something warm was important. Every morning, he would remind us, "Put something hot on your stomach before you go to school—you don't want to fall down in school."

What started as a family tradition soon became a lifelong habit.

Over the years, tea became more than just a beverage. No matter where I go, one of the first questions I ask is, "Do you have tea?" If I'm offered something to drink, my choice is almost always a cup of tea. On the days I leave home without finishing my tea, I usually bring it with me.

Today, tea remains an important part of my daily routine. I enjoy a cup when I wake up, another after lunch, and a final cup in the evening. My father still follows a similar ritual, beginning and ending his day with tea.

As my appreciation for tea grew, so did my curiosity about where it comes from, how it is grown, and the traditions behind it. That curiosity led me to explore teas from around the world, learn from growers and suppliers, and seek out exceptional ingredients from regions known for their rich tea and botanical heritage.

HighestFormTea was born from that journey and a genuine love for tea. Every blend reflects a passion for quality, thoughtful sourcing, and the simple joy that can be found in a well-crafted cup.

Whether you're starting your morning, taking a midday pause, or winding down in the evening, my hope is that every cup creates a moment to slow down, be present, and enjoy the experience of tea.
